No... I'm pretty sure it is what I said.mellie wrote:boxy wrote:It may be confusing for you, Mel, but there have been environmentalists who support nuclear power for ages. There are a wide range of opinions out there... but I think you'll still find the "official" greens in Aus are still as rabid about nukes as ever, especially since the Tsunami last year.
That or there's been a fascist shift towards eco-capitalism, global governence and policy..... [blah, blah, fucking blah]
Greens pro-nuclear now?

I can't see the link Mel. Senator Brown is doing the best he can with the limited power he currently has. He has to make concessions if he wants some of the more popular Greens' policies to be pushed through.Mellie wrote:Labor have their Fabian ties, Liberals their Exclusive Brethren, and Greens, the fascist red corporate militant arm there of has their own thing going, this be the RAPC.
Its just, they didn't want you to know this.
I think it's clear, who's sniffing who's Brand.
Welcome to the eco-warmongering fascist militant Zionist arm of the Global Green eco-terrorists --- Bob brown slots in there nicely right next to all the other war lords.
What makes their process more sinister than any other not-so-public parties ties with assorted clubs, orgs etc?

Obviously the gay marriage vote is popular to the homosexual community, but the Greens are making inroads in other directions - especially when it comes to restrictions on mining exploration leases, deforestation and renewable energy. They were actually more productive when they weren't in government.

If I was dictator pro-nukers would be compelled to live near their beloved reactors and pay the absobitant cost of electricity provided by the most expensive method of boiling water ever divised, and those who signed off on such projects would have to live at the waste dump sites.
For about a decade or more now, I've been waiting for someone to come up with a weapon/device which would make nuke reactors and warheads a strategic liability rather than an asset. Imagine if you could detonate an enemy's missiles in their silos. Everyone would be in a rush to get rid of them. Don't know how effective yet, but it seems the Ruskis have come up with a high powered electromagnetic pulse weapon that can do just that by bouncing the beam off the ionoshere.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Yea I agree, I cannot see one reason why nuke power would ever be needed in this country, when other clean power like solar wind hydro et al are so easy to deliver here.Outlaw Yogi wrote:If I was dictator pro-nukers would be compelled to live near their beloved reactors and pay the absobitant cost of electricity provided by the most expensive method of boiling water ever divised, and those who signed off on such projects would have to live at the waste dump sites.
