Actually, that is the truth.

In order to be part of a religion (which is a belief, not a race) one has to accept the dogma and theology of that religion, and unlike Christianity, who's founder, Jesus never mentions homosexuality, indeed who's teaching indicates he would have accepted it (Anthoney Burgess makes a rather intriguing case in Earthly Powers he may have even participated in it), the fonder of Islam made it clear, you can not be a Muslim and find your pleasures in a garden full of manure.

According to Malik (I think) on the other OzPolitic forum, not only are you by definition not a Muslim if you are gay, homosexuality simply disappears under Islam. It ceases to exist. This is not because homosexuals get stoned to death or lashed, but because the Islamic dictatorship somehow prevents them being gay in the first place. Islam is a cure for homosexuality. He knows this because there are so few gays in places like Saudi Arabia. He also claimed that men frequently have sex with each other in public toilets in Saudi Arabia. This is not because they are gay. They are just straight men who happen to take out their sexual frustration together in the cubicle. It is because the women are too expensive (dowry) and also have to wear tents, so apart from their mother many men don't even know what a woman looks like. Now in a proper Islamic dictatorship the dowry would be less and women would be able to show the front of their face (but not other bits). So these men would not need to have sex with each other in public toilets. Instead they would buy themselves a wife. Or four if they were rich. Maths doesn't interfere with this, as it is perfectly legal for every man to have four wives. It is God's law. In any case plenty of men would die in Jihad and they would capture lots of sex slaves also. So if they run out of wives you can just buy yourself a sex slave. But don't tell Abu this because Islam forbids sex slaves. Instead, you buy yourself a nice looking female slave and just happen to have sex with her, or anything else that your right hand posseses. Also, according to Ayatola Komeini, or some other cleric/mufti, if your right hand happens to posses a goat, you must rinse off your tackle 3 times before praying.
