Damn right it was no mistake, it was a pretty bloody good programme all round. Not perfect but name one thing that ever is.

Seems Malay pollies are going to knock the OZ off-shore refugee detention camp on the head when Malaysian parliment resumes, on the grounds such a facility conflicts with Malaysian law.

Now even if this proposed refugee deal was agreeable and signed off on by Malays, the OZ govt would still have this to address ...

Amnesty International says the Malaysian Government has defied an international prohibition on torture by caning thousands of people for immigration offences and petty crime.
"Any agreement, any deal that the Australian Government is doing with the Malaysian government must involve the Malaysian government ending torture," she said.
