Greens a party of extemists: PM
JULIA Gillard has promised her carbon-pricing scheme will protect jobs in vulnerable industries, in a feisty speech that sharply distances Labor from the Greens, describing them as one of the ''extremes'' in Australian politics.
Yeah right Juliar...Australia has already worked you lot out. Enjoy your trip to the bottom.....fluffy bunny!

Unfortunately, many of the Green-activists against the technology Nuclear power have stopped the implementation of newer reactors that have been designed with better safety features due to their irrational fear of the power source itself.
Japans reactors are/were 30+ years old, newer American reactors have already ironed out the the same flaws that resulted in the recent meltdown of Japans, and had Japan heeded warnings concerning their expired technology 2 years ago, accepted the fact their reactors weren't quake proof when they were first advised, then this whole incident could have been avoided.
A stubborn arrogant stoic race of pig-headed know-it-alls strike again.
Lets see how stoic they are when half their nations hair falls out in a few weeks time due to radiation sickness.

The Green activists have had no say in the maintenance of nuclear reactors - it is the fault of the governments who buy them. Most of the time it's too expensive to maintain them - so they just don't bother.
