Aren't we supposed to have the results by now? Was McCain really Bush in disguise?

Turns out McCain was actually a deep thought sock puppet.. so...

Well either way America was getting an upgrade. Barack's acceptance speech was quite moving, but we'll see if he really can go from the senator with the most liberal voting record to governing from the centre as he has promised. I hope so. Either way it's a symbolic choice and a watershed for change.

I do think a manufactured crisis will test his foreign policy balls early in his first term though.

What's a manufactured crisis?

Something like the Russians wanting to get closer to nato with their missile sites?

A manufactured crisis is when your wife claims the entire world will end if she cannot buy an overpriced Clinique skin care package this weekend!

President elect Obama has a lot of real crises on his incoming dinner plate.

Still, his first priority should be getting his kids a dog.

The whole of America needs a First Dog.

Yes my opinion too Dita. What happens to these dogs when the term is over? Bush ended up with about a dozen little black terriors and they wouldn't have been suitable for his ranch?
