I don't know anyone who thinks Israel's response was ballanced or fair.

I think Israel's response is balanced and fair because Israelis were trying to avoid war but when it was brought upon they should not hold back otherwise war will drag on forever and summary casualties will be much greater.

Let's imagine Israel had have taken a completely different approach, a more "protective " stance. Sure, hunt down hamas, though with a degree of civilised decorum and humanity, ensure security and intelligence measures were being utilised ( this opposed to failing to protect it's own kids at a festival) and utilising their military prowess to engage in civilised negotiations with their enemy's, hamas etc.( Note- It's not just Palestinians who want Israel out of the ME) This would have taken longer and resulted in Israel having to free terrorist captives, and negotiate, true, but wouldn't it have been better in the long run than blatant genocide?

This is why some sort of arrangement needs to be made, because Trump can't be seen as sitting idley, because this war really is upon the world stage, Israel's own baby, and as usual, Israel wants the US to finish it, start WW3 with Iran even...whatever it takes.

I have a feeling Trumps invited him to Washington in Feb to tell him enough is enough ..... either finish what you started pal, and properly, once and for all ....or STOP!

Israel has every right to be there, I personally don't believe in a Palestine or a West Bank, the Arabs should be dispersed , absorbed ( with UN assistance) into their terrorist housing allies and concede defeat.
