Interest rates etc can be used to control inflation—that is, by monetary not fiscal policy.

What it does is cause inflation which robs people of their savings -
it's an enormous invisible tax on sensible people who have saved money.

No, deficit Budgets do not cause inflation.
READ a book on Macroeconomics.
