RIO Tinto has stepped up its campaign against the planned super profits tax by releasing audited numbers that the mining giant says proves it already pays its "fair share".

The figures, which the company said had been verified by PricewaterhouseCoopers, show Rio paid $20.3 billion in corporate taxes and royalties in Australia over the past decade and its effective tax rate averaged 35.6 per cent.

"Put simply, these figures demonstrate that Rio Tinto, one of Australia's biggest taxpayers, pays its fair share of taxes," chief financial officer Guy Elliott said.
Bit of a difference between Krudd and Swansongs lies and misinformation about "13-17%" Although that fat fucking retard without a thinking braincell, Monk would still believe Krudd and Swansongs figures over an independent auditor.

Now we have ~ $40M of taxpayers monies being spent on propping up a Labor party political campaign  Only fucktards could support that. (Hi Leftard and Monkybrains)
