Saturday’s Federal Election result was a win (a big win) for mainstream Australians and the values and freedoms we hold dear. We clearly reject the politics of race, class, gender and division. It’s a win for merit, opportunity over class warfare and common-sense. You can’t redistribute people’s life savings and expect them not to get worried, angry and vote against you in their millions. Saturday’s result was also a victory against political correctness. But the elites and left-wing activists won’t go away.
Standing up like we have, would not have been possible without your support and investment in Advance Australia.
You made the difference this election, in marginal seats across the country.
You asked us to do three things during the 2019 Federal election;
Hold left-wing activists to account
Support candidates under attack from organisations like GetUp
Engage, educate, standout and grab attention.
And thanks to your support, this is what we have achieved:
You have weakened and exposed GetUp and their ‘cult’ like activities and behaviours through our three-part documentary series
You have put Captain GetUp and Freddie Foreign Money on the road to tell voters the truth about GetUp’s radical left-wing agenda
You have made Labor’s retirees tax a key issue in marginal seats and swung votes against the Labor Party because of its franking credit policy
You have reached over 2 million voters in the last week of the campaign, with messages about Labor’s housing tax, carbon tax, retirees’ tax and Labor’s gender-bending agenda
You have raised awareness of Advance Australia, our belief, values and freedoms, via cut-through social media content
You have helped generate over $10 million in media exposure during the election campaign
You have had empowered over 100 volunteers on five polling booths in key marginal seats
You have put mobile billboards on the road in Warringah and Dickson to highlight the risks to mainstream values and freedoms and
You have put over 300,000 pieces of strategically targeted mail into key marginal seats.
And none of this could have been possible were it not for the thousands of Advance Australia supporters who gave more than 3,798 donations to build our $2 million war chest.
Given your feedback in March, we focused on the seats of:
Dickson, QLD
Warringah, NSW
Flinders, VIC
Deakin, VIC
Indi, VIC
Boothby, SA
Canning, WA
Pearce, WA
In the final days of the campaign, we also sent multiple messages to voters in Bass (Tas), Braddon (Tas) and Forde (QLD) and a collection of other key marginal seats.
Together, we succeeded in supporting six out of seven mainstream candidates who were under attack from groups like GetUp.
The seat of Indi will remain a focus, as we know from bitter experience, left-wing independents actively work against the national interest, as they did in the last Parliament when they weakened our border security laws. Sadly, we weren’t able to support Tony Abbott sufficiently enough to see him re-elected. We wish him and Margie and all his family all the very best as they embark on a new chapter in their lives. His replacement, the fake independent Zali Steggall, will continue to be a focus of our attention as we seek to hold her to account for her radical views.

Our job is far from over!
Our movement continues at pace, as the threats to mainstream values and freedoms continue. The likes of Sarah Hanson-Young, Penny Wong and the two GetUp backed independents – Zali Steggall and Helen Haines will still make up this Parliament.
We know the political landscape has changed and movement like ours are vital. We’re a long way behind the resources and strength of numerous left-wing activist organisations, but we’ve made an impressive start and now is the time to continue to build momentum.
Take the Professor Peter Ridd and Israel Folau cases as examples – we need to actively protect, defend and advance our values and freedoms 365 days of the year.
Because of your support, Advance Australia is now a permanent fixture in Australian politics, and we’ll redouble our efforts to ensure that in three years’ time we are an even stronger, more effective and efficient voice for mainstream Australians.
There’s lots to do and our small but professional team headed back to work yesterday to continue growing and building our movement.
In coming days, we’ll again seek your views on the strategy and direction of our movement, and I look forward to your feedback. We know the time is right for a forward thinking and positive agenda which Advances Australia for generations to come.
