What is your point bwian?
Got an opinion?
Some relevant facts perhaps? No?

They are already represented by the Shooters Party... how many votes do they get?

Mind you the Adler is a nice gun indeed. :thumb
I have no issue at all with it being legal. You?

When guns are illegal

Only criminals will have guns.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

My father (and grandfather) had a rifle and a shotgun. Dad kept his guns in the "broom cupboard" and the ammunition elsewhere. As children we (my sisters and I) knew that they were off limits. My Grandfather gave my Mother a 410 shotgun when she was 12 and they used to go "rabbit hunting" together, apparently. I could never, ever kill anything (except a spider). They were country folk and we were sent off to Boarding School in Melbourne, as was the trend back then. My sisters still live in Melbourne.

Before howard the coward decided to remove guns from the people.
Just like Hitler did, I think howard the coward was channeling Hitler.
Many Australians had guns
There were very few gun crimes.
Less than now.

Sweden has a gun in every home
No gun crime worth mentioning

Finland has a few guns in every home
Little if any gun crime there either.

But our grubberment are terrified of the people
As they should rightly be
So they want rid of anything that can be a weapon.
But this shows their stupidity, anything can be a weapon.

Guns
Knives
Even screwdriver
All illegal carry.

My father carried a knife all his life, for cutting up fruit.
In 90 years he never used it as a weapon

I carry a knife And after 60 years, have no real need to use it as a weapon.
But with nutcase muzzos everywhere, who knows.

Ban guns, only criminals will carry them, and normal people become targets.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

Yes, sure, we live in the Wild West don't we?

In reality, criminals have few guns and use them more rarely than people appear to believe.

The post-Port Arthur Firearms Regulations were intended to act as a "circuit breaker" - they were intended to get out of general circulation the sorts of firearms which were used most often in "massacre" type situations - semi-automatic long arms and pump action shotguns. They achieved that. They were not intended to disarm the Australian population. Today, there are more privately owned firearms than before Port Arthur. They are however just the types considered acceptable by the authorities - bolt or lever action longarms, double or single barreled shotguns.

Australians have indicated their approval of the present firearms regime Downunder numerous times since their introduction. The Firearms Parties have failed dismally to change the regulations. I think its time they realised they wasting theirs and our time.
