Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull has called for more bollards to be installed in Melbourne to prevent a repeat of the Bourke Street attack that killed five people last week.

Says "vulnerability" needs to be urgently addressed
PM has discussed security improvements with Victorian Premier, Melbourne Lord Mayor
Mr Turnbull said the attack, which injured more than 30 pedestrians and has prompted a review of police conduct, was an example of a weakness in city planning that needed to be urgently addressed.

Malcolm Turnbull has offered to help secure Melbourne from repeat attacks by installing his entire front bench as bollards to completely cut off Bourke St. Speaking to lazy, incompetent, travel jaunting, ex Liberal Leader and now City Mayor Mr Robert Doyle, Malcolm proposed placing the most overweight ministers in the centre, radiating out to the street extremities. Bag of Bones Julie Bishop would become a stop sign whilst National Leader Barnaby Joyce would be fitted with light and sound to amuse the public.

YAWN! Bollards. I read somewhere that the Police were too afraid to get "involved" in case they got into trouble ... what a bunch of pussies in VicPol. I thought they were the ones who used to be trigger happy.

You still got people sleeping/living on the footpath outside Flinders Street Railway Station? I used to catch the train to Brighton from there when I lived in Melbourne.

VicPol still hasn't recovered from the pussification inflicted on it by Christina Nixon.
It takes a long time and many innocent lives before the left's socialist death policies can be eradicated from the system. The left insists if you keep doing the same thing over and over, eventually people might get used to policies that kill people, because there is no other way than theirs. Dead innocents are merely statistical abberations on their wildly successful policies.
