No one wants to help Donald Trump build a registry of Muslims

Tech giants Microsoft and IBM have said they would refuse to help create a registry of Muslim Americans under Donald Trump's presidency.
Mr Trump has previously discussed a potential religion-based register during the campaign.
Although he has rowed back on his statements, a prospective cabinet member has since been photographed carrying plans for "extreme vetting" and questioning for Muslims.

Hundreds of individual workers from Silicon Valley and beyond have also signed a pledge on neveragain.tech to say they would refuse to work on building a religious registry.

The day after chief executive Satya Nadella and other technology leaders met with Mr Trump in New York, a Microsoft spokesman told Buzzfeed: "We’ve been clear about our values. We oppose discrimination and we wouldn’t do any work to build a registry of Muslim Americans."
And IBM, which employs some 380,000 people, said: "IBM would not work on this hypothetical project.

It follows official commitments from Apple, Google, Uber and Facebook.

"Our company has long-standing values and a strong track record of opposing discrimination against anyone on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation or religion. That perspective has not changed, and never will."

Well first we have to wait for Trump to become President.
Then we have to wait and see is some psycho Democrat assassinates him.
Then we have to accept that (taken that he will still be there) he is the POTUS.

Then we have to wait out the next few years and adapt to whatever may happen that affects us.
Nothing else we can do.

President Elect TRUMP draining the swamp, one lefttard at a time.
Well another 8 years of global warming will just create a greater need when the evidence starts/continues to reflect the latest models. Trump will try to run the US like a business. Well it is more like a business than a country anyway.
Heelloo helllooo its been proven there is no global warming.......the latest models show this..the math the leftards were using was wrong. Look it up.

That idea was proposed for crims in PNG years ago ... but the 7 Day Adventurers are popular in the South Pacific, and fundamentalist Jesus freaks are proponents of a doomsday scenario loosely based on Revelations predicting the Beast would have everyone indelibly "marked on the hands or foreheads".

Ironic, considering IBM got its first big break by numbering Jews.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Well it could be that Trump and his obsessive Twittering could lead us into another Nuclear Arms Race... good one Donald.
Trump apparently thinks the way to make America great again is to have more armed Nukes than everyone else.

Unfortunately all countries with Nukes already have enough to destroy life on the planet already.

Trump probably won't know what sort of nuclear arms the USA has (or any other country has) until he is "sworn in".

Oh, and it isn't Trump twittering ... it is the Hillary Clinton lot causing trouble .... why haven't all those HOLLYWOOD STARS moved to Canada?

As cods would say, hilarious!

Trump has got Ford to not invest in a plant in Mexico and to invest in US jobs. Interesting.

Ford has scrapped plans to build a $1.6 billion factory in Mexico in favour of creating 700 jobs in the US amid repeated threats from Donald Trump to sanction American companies that move manufacturing abroad.
The carmaker will instead invest $700 million over the next four years in expanding its plant in Flat Rock, Michigan, to develop electric and self-driving cars. Mark Fields, chief executive of Ford, said that the company was “encouraged by the pro-growth policies that president-elect Trump and the new Congress have indicated that they will pursue”. He added: “We believe that these tax and regulatory reforms are critically important to boost US competitiveness and . . . drive a resurgence in American manufacturing and hi-tech innovation.”
Ford workers attending the news conference clapped and cheered after Mr Fields announced the decision to scrap the Mexico plant, which would have been based in San Luis Potosi. Ford said that it would, however, build its new Focus model at its existing plant in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Although the company said that the decision was not based on a deal struck with Mr Trump, the announcement was a coup for the president-elect. He took credit last month for a decision by the air conditioner manufacturer Carrier to keep about 1,000 jobs in Indiana. It had planned to close a plant and move some jobs to Monterrey, Mexico, but was persuaded by tax incentives to stay.

Starting well. Keeping promises.
