Thankfully, I nor any of my family or friends has had their parent/step parent creeping into their room in the night!

I was vigilant with a former boyfriend when my daughter was about 7 or 8. He took her side in arguments which were none of his business. All care, no responsibility. I never allowed him to babysit her. However the most interesting thing was when we went "down the Coast" for a weekend and hired a caravan. My daughter asked this man to "please leave while I get into my PJs" and he slammed out, swearing .... I had a bad feeling about this bloke and gave him the heave ho.

Years later I ran into another of his "girlfriends" and she told me about a Court Case.

My daughter was lucky that I was vigilant ... he was sued by a kid who was 5 at the time (many years after I pissed him off) for sexual penetration or something of as minor, 20+ years later. Slap on the wrist.

I've heard such accusations regarding Paul Keating in the past.
Someone else also accused but not on the list is John Howard.
At first I doubted it, but then I wondered why Howard protected former Anglican Arch Bishop and former Governor General Peter Hollingworth.

Rumour had they were both part of a high level paedophile ring.

The punishment for pedophiles is mild compared to other crimes.

That's because sexual deviancy is common in the law prefession.
Magistrates and Judges are lawyers who get promotions, and are commonly known to often be paedophiles themselves.
So it only stands to reason they'd go light on like minded characters.

20 odd years ago I went to a cousin's wedding over North Sydney somewhere (I'd stayed with him and his parents at their place on Collaroy beach when 12).

At the wedding I was seated at a table beside a young woman I'd never met, but who turned out to be a 2nd or 3rd cousin.
During conversation she mentioned some thing about AA (alcoholics anonymous) and surprised someone in their 20s went to AA I said "You go to AA?".

She didn't like the tone of my question, so got up and went to chat with someone else.

Years later her father (my grand-mother's brother) died, and it came out - "He molested all (5) of those kids".

So yes indeed, kiddy fiddlers are everywhere.
