Works pretty fucking well I reckon, you fuckers, do you fucking understand?

(heheheh ghosting Glen Milne aka The Poisoned Dwarf)

(from PB)
By conscripting some of the best-known Liberals in the land into the service of his Government, Rudd gives specific, human form to his claim to a broad central position, to represent the national interest. It's also a way of neutralising some of the Liberals' better talent and their networks, denying them to the Liberals and conscripting them for his own purposes. It also subtly changes the incentives for the Coalition politicians still in Parliament. Tony Abbott remarked yesterday: “I welcome the precedent and the introduction of a new principle – that Rudd will not appoint a Labor person to a plum job without appointing a Coalition person to a plum job.” Subtext – one day Rudd might offer me a good job too.
Rudd has now got the Liberals in his pocket and they are now queuing up for their two pieces of silver. Next, Costello, then Ruddock (eagerly waiting before he announced his retirement), next Bronny, Andrews and now People Skills. Do they have no shame.

Jesus Christ, does Katharine Murphy actually get paid for writing that painful prose?
"But you will run your fluffy bunny mouth at me. And I will take it, to play poker."
