Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has reached across the political divide to name Kim Beazley and Brendan Nelson to key overseas diplomatic postings.

Former Labor leader Mr Beazley will become the ambassador to the US while former Opposition leader Dr Nelson will take up the role as ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, Luxembourg, and NATO as well as the special representative to the World Health Organisation.

Beazley will make a brilliant Ambassador to the US! Horatio, well he will muddle along like he in his portfolios.

Wonder what Rudd will offer to Tip? Something not too arduous for the hammock dweller and it will have to be located in Melbourne.

But Costello would actually have to stand for election to the job, more courage than he has shown so far.

Oh the irony... you do realise that you, the ultimate partisan political hack, are the exact opposite of what that article is praising Rudd for, don't you?

You are much more like Howard, than the inclusionist part of the Labor movement that the article claims as such a danger to the Libs. Perhaps you could learn something from your own postings, if you could actually comprehend them
