Senator Heffernan took issue with Senator Arbib.

"I just want to point out to Senator Arbib it's Mr McGurk that's dead,'' Senator Heffernan said on a point of order.

Senate President John Hogg said the comment was "completely unnecessary''.

Mr McGurk was gunned down in front of his 10-year-old son outside their Sydney home on September 3.

Can you trust them fuckwits for anything let alone running the Country?

They are out of touch with what the electorate wants. It is good to see though so much commendation from around the world for Rudd and Swan's handling of the economic crisis. Might put the kaibosh on that Liberal spread myth that the Liberals are better economic managers. Aussies are decent peopel who do want a compassionate and representative and fair government, but they have been held back by the fear of poor economic management from Labor. Now people know that Labor can manage the economy very well it seems to be plain sailign for Labor.

I can think of something the opposition should be attacking Labor on to win points, but it would be hard for them to do so given their work choices history.
