Daniel Andrews' twofold Promise

Daniel Andrews' promise was two-fold:
1) to stop the East-West link
2) that no compensation was going to be paid as the contract was null/void

Andrews stopped the East-West link but the contract was valid and compensation is going to be paid.
Last estimate was $430million plus an additional $300+m...check on Bolts' blog for the details


Once Andrews & the ALP are booted out the link will return as the link is vital for commuters, just whether any overseas investors will trust the Vic govt again or as much is the question.
