Brough to stand for Higgins?

Oh man, I do hope so! The useless, arrogant slob got a 10% swing against him in 2007, FIFTH biggest swing in the election! Redistribution contributed 1%, so 9% was due to Brough being a dickhead!

Nah, Rudd will employ Costello in some figurehead role, chairman of the NBN or something. Costello may do something like cross the HoR floor on something like the ETS legislation or the like.

Costello hates the Fib Party for not coming crawling to him to offer him the PM positions: a credulous, weak, deluded fool who has only himself to blame.

I guess Rudd at least recognises on some level Costellos talents willl benefit Labor in some capacity rather then see alll that experience go to waste...but can Costello make the transition? This will not sit well with Keating?[ and who cares most would say]

Costello is a junior barrister, that's it! This is purely a political move by two guys who want to fuck the Fib party.

Hmmmm seems rumors of a job for Tip are a bit premature. Still, tip needs something to do, some job or rather sinecure to be found for old Tip. If it is a govt position then the govt will expect something from Tip.
