You heard on the news this morning, I assume, that the energy companies are saying that there will probably not be a reduction in our electricity bills even when the tax is repealed. I said this months ago on a few occasions. Of course they will find something else to use our money for. Repealing this tax is only another Abbott ideology and it's going to be a costly one at that.

At present those on low incomes are getting subsidies for the tax - this will be removed and people will see no difference in their bills and they won't be getting any help from the government this time around.

Let's see how Abbott gets out of this one.
