LABOR'S vice-president Tony Sheldon will urge the party today to find "a new sense of purpose and direction" or risk spending years in the political wilderness.

Describing Labor as "a sick organisation", Mr Sheldon argues the party must renew its policies, continue to democratise internally and refresh its philosophy if it is to remain relevant to voters.

Well the ALP supposedly once stood for something ... but now they're all too fat to get out of their chairs.

I was sighned up to the ALP against my will and without my permission ate age 16, in one of my obsessive mother's branch stacking efforts.
So I refused to attend meetings to invalidate the membership.

Y'see despite growing up in a staunch ALP household, I have never voted Labor because I view them as a nest of cowardly traitors sucking up Indonesia's @)$#.

In WW2 the Timorese fought against Imperial Japan with us, and Javan Indonesians fought against us for Imperial Japan.
Indonesia is still run under the same political system set up by the Japs in WW2.

In 1975 the Labor hero Gough Whitlam closed Fretilin's bank account and radio station in Darwin. Then kow towed to Gerald Ford and Henry Kissinger's request Suharto be allowed to invade East Timor and ultimately eliminate 250,000+ people.

Then in the 1980s Bob Hawke signed a deal with Indonesia to divy up oil in the Timor gap.

It was John Howard in 1989 who sent Aussie troops to East Timor to get the Javan muslim @)$#wipes out.
