US Presidents and Why they Were Assasinated

Post by mellie » Wed Aug 28, 2013 8:28 am

Four sitting presidents have been killed to date...

Abraham Lincoln (the 16th President)
James A. Garfield (the 20th President)
William McKinley (the 25th President)
John F. Kennedy (the 35th President)

What did they have in common, who were their enemies?

Probably. ;) To be assassinated has a much better ring to it than "they shot the Prez".

I think Mellie was asking WHY .... have any of them been assassinated by strangulation?

enemies were probably of the CIA or such form, military coup
As with many coups to overthrow the government only need to kill off the president

How many non-republics countries have had their leader assassinated compared to republic countries.

Perhaps they were all C u N T s? I dont know? Just all upset some people who then decided to shoot them. Probably no more complicated than that!
