It's a little like this story, where pudgy isn't quite threatening because he's softer than shit sandwich but there is that element of psycho just bubbling underneath the surface waiting to erupt. I think the ALP have another Latham on their hands...

But I think he is more motivated by the photo opportunity and tries to grab the kids hand to hold it there for the photo than anything else.

What I want to know is:-

Since Krudd on the campaign trail, why is he only visiting schools? Doesn't he know that children don't vote? I really cannot understand this tactic of visiting numerous schools in various electorates.

* Is it because he likes to have a crowd of "admirers" around him? (Narcissist)
* Kids see him on TV and actually think he is very important?
* Their Teachers prime them to cheer, wave and "adore" him?
* Kids of this age range would barely now what an Election is.
* Is he hoping to sell himself to the kids parents?
* Does he think he is one of the Wiggles?

Very odd behaviour.

Meanwhile, Tony on the other hand is campaigning by visiting ADULTS at their workplaces. No doubt Tony will get around to visiting "schools" but hopefully he will aim at a higher age group. Those that are old enough to actually VOTE ... otherwise, I would say it is a waste of time.

I thought that the whole campaign thing was for the Candidates to visit Electorates where the margin was iffy so that they could "sell" themselves and maybe change some voter's minds. Visiting schools in the areas would do bugger all in my opinion, so why waste Taxpayers money shaking hands and doing High 5's with Kindy kids?
