How was he being a jerk? The dead kid was acting suspiciously. His job was security.
What did Zimmerman do to deserve getting his head smashed into the pavement? Does doing his job mean that the kid was allowed to smash his head into the concrete, or should he have just not done what he was paid to do?

That woman you're talking about violated half a dozen laws with here shooting, the biggest being she had drew the weapon to fire warning shoots, which is a strict no-no. If you draw and fire then you shoot to kill, yoiu do not shoot to warn or wound or any other silly shit you see in movies and TV. It's called deadly force for a reason, and the ONLY time you should ever draw a firearm and point it at someone is if you intended to kill them.

But yeah, I guess I can add "use of force laws" to the big list of shit you do not know about the United States. I'm a gun owner and I routinely carry a concealed weapon (I've got a valid CCL in four states), so if you have questions on how this actually works you could try asking someone that knows instead of making dumbass statements.

Bullshit. He talked to a 911 operator, not even an actual police dispatcher, but the lady that answers the phone when you call emergency services. He was under no legal obligation what-so-ever to do anything that woman said. Had she been an actual police officer he still would not have been legally obligated to obey her unless she was physically present.

It's not murder at all. At best you could make a case for manslaughter given the evidence, which is what the lead investigator suggested the prosecuting attorney's office file.
