Hose down the walls, it;s a dogs breakfast.... their multiple divisive factions are whats killed it.

See, multiculturalism doesn't work.... re- the multiple ideologies and factions which has corroded their party's culture and morale.

Tell me, do they have an apple bobbing faction yet?

I know they have a dog-walking faction every other morning in Canberra. Pure breeds and designer doggy jackets only.

8-) Don't forget your poop'a'scoop.
If Labor split you'd have the Unions deciding which one to support.
You'd pick up new members on both the conservative and progressive side and lose very few.
You'd have the makings of a LW Coalition.
2 parties, both smaller than the current ALP, but larger than the Nationals.
Either one, possibly both, would be considered a major party.

As for Multiculti... teach your mother to suck eggs I believe is the saying.

The trouble is, they are choc a-block with disaffected sulking, skulking and bitching members ..resided to their impending doom, they have lost their fight.

Their factions and sub-factions have been withering away at Labor for years, and true, union factions have always been a divisive factor, but now there are other more "radical" factions, the party itself has more than lost it's way....it's lost the freaking plot.

Then with the spill-over of the Greens, and their demands spilling over into to the dogs breakfast.... it's a case of their needing to reunite the party ... but how, when their philosophy is fundamentally the celebration of "individuality" and "Diversity".... they have forgotten how to team-play, are too busy being "individuals" they have forgotten about the crux of party dynamics and loyalty. Patriotism is a filthy conservative word, as is sovereignty when it comes to Labors flip-flops... so how do you even begin to reunite this carnival of circus freaks, when they are all too busy being 'individuals' they have forgotten about teamsmanship? Another word that would be taboo, given the "man" aspect of it.

... and Rudd, being the antisocial fickle neurotic pickle that he was...(not one for party comradery)...he was renowned for reclusing to his office , fantasizing about his seat on the UN...and more or less let the party go to hell.... as has Gillard ...because she's too busy doing it for herself and sacking rats to give a crap what happens to labor after she;s left the building.

She has her future sorted, so does Rudd.... what do they care?

It will take a grass-roots old school labor leader to rebuild the party and prepare it for the election after next... but who?

Shorten is a tool, too busy looking at himself in the mirror and sniffing skirt to take his role seriously... his out for himself, wants to be Mr President... Lord Farquaad what a joke.

:roll He's been a big part of the problem, he would make a reasonable minister, has the gift of the gab, but he's not a true Labor man, ... honestly, i'm thinking get some of the older boys back in .... get rid of the fem-tarts and dissidents,...trouble makers and loafers.... and the brain-dead droolers...like Garrett....who can hardly put two words together...has he had a stroke or something?

And ditch what the party has been too scared to ditch in fear of not appearing to be "politically correct"...."tolerant"...this ultra 'progressive' rainbow cabinet is a dogs breakfast.

The Hon Amanda Rishworth MP....they should have left her on Tokyos bullet train.... what is with Gillard, is she her latest Keneally crush?

Gillard likes to surround herself with attractive relatively unskilled younger woman, because it makes her feel significant and powerful.

Who's da boss? You're the boss Gills. :thumb

As for bringing the faceless men to the cabinet.... is she insane?

This is whats causing so much friction within her party, her obvious favoritism.

Priscilla Queen of the Parliament.

And I mean multiculturalism in a political context....lets call it multi-cult-politicism ie, too many infusions of one cult or another....the bubbling cauldron has lost it's traditional Labor flavour... smells like a cross between teen spirit and Emilys lists soiled underwear.

Gillard set up Emilys List, (Check with ASIC) ..and used it as an AWU slush fund to assist with getting her crusty flaps elected...here she is riding on the burnt bra-straps of feminists .. ..embarrassing the sisterhood shitless behaving like a teenage girl on heat taking childish pictures of herself posing with notoriously (according to Gillard) 'Misogynous" Kyle Sandilands wearing an Easter bunny costume with her funky new Iphone.... definitely something not quite right there. 8-)

She needs to grow up.

We don't have time for her to get in touch with her inner-child whilst enduring some sort of menopausal psychosis.
Someone needs to spike her chai latte with HRT.

Perhaps it's because she's hanging around funky Amanda Rishworth..... remember when she and Keneally were besties holding hands and skipping down the street together?

Seems like yesterday.........sigh!~!

And that soon lost it's novelty didn't it.

Kristina's hubbie probably wanted his wife back.

....................................
8-)

I don't care what any of you say.... Gillards not stable, she does strange things, often out of character, ..which are not consistent with her professed convictions.

I reckon shes had a gut full, and is trying to get sacked.

Hurry up Bill...before she starts riding a skateboard to work or something.

IQS.RLOW wrote:If there was a split in the ALP and a new party was formed that housed the likes of Rudd, Crean, Ferguson, Carr, Jenkins etc would you
1. Be more inclined to vote for the new party over the union and faction dominated ALP?
2. Throw more support at the ALP because you think the deadwood has been removed?

How would a new DLP make you feel?

Um, I don't think all of the candidates you mention are on speaking terms.

Like I said....Rudds a rat..... and he deliberately ratted out Crean.

With this little Kirribilly pact Gillard has going with Rudd... did Crean honestly think Rudd was serious about endorsing himself, or anyone but who Billy Shorten tells him to?

It's a disgrace she and Rudd wont discuss this pact with ministers outside their little 'click' .

So after reading the above IQ's....you sure having Crean and Rudd leading the same 'new' party is a good thing?

Crean13 would have had a nice ring to it though.... bit like Kevin07.

I said the "likes of"

I never went into specifics because that would have formed part of the answer of a despairing ALP supporter but thanks for the long winded clutter regarding an answer to a question never asked or directed at you.

I'm sure you've managed to glaze over many a pair of eyes that it was directed at

What part of this is an open/publicly accessible forum thread did you miss thick skull?

So if the princess wants it's privacy.... find a crawl space to finish yourself off.

Perhaps, next time you should personify your letter with a cute little pink envelope, name, address....and a dab of perfume, ...you know, make it that little bit more 'personified' ....on a public forum you sniveling gorm.

Do you ever stop whinging?

And you have the temerity to complain about Mantras whinging when you leave her for dead, have turned it into a profession.

ha ha you'll be whinging at the crematorium IQ's while they're stuffing your bloated carcass into the furnace I'm sure.

And how dare you speak to me in that petulant tone, you reprobated narcissistic wretch.

Can you see this tiny little violin I'm playing for you in my hand IQ's?

Thats how much I care what you think of my long winded clutter intruding on your thread.

Next time, it'll be a novel.

Sounds like this new (imaginary) Labor party would be moving to the rightand this has been tried in the UK. New Labor they called it.

Result, right of centre talk with leftist values leading to fiscal irresponsibility.

Gillard needs some new friends like Tony had.

The other outcome but less likely these days (without appropriate media legislation) is that Union thugs join, stack and intimidate and cause the new party to fail.

It's happened before, their social democratic faction (The new 3rd way) detaching itself (well trying to) from a sinking ship ...bit like how the tail of a lizard drops off ( caudal autotomy) when it feels threatened ...it's a defense mechanism.

IQ's thought the idea of a brand spanking new party...DLP sounded cool, lol even Roach knew they already had one....actually, they have had two...the old DLP and the modern DLP..... bit like the old Julia Gillard and the new Julia Gillard.
Malcolm Turnbull and IQ's should join it, it would be right up their ally.

Labor is labor, it's still a mangled train wreck imploding from within.

Their union faction didn't help, but they weren't the only self destructive labor faction at play here. 8-)

Take a look at Gillards "New Look" cabinet, it's filled with her union buddies. Talk about jobs for the boys.
