Not in my house. I read the Age every day - and all day at weekends. Great reading, but probably more for the writing (like Playboy ) than the actual news, which is all over the net anyway.

A FORENSIC anatomist has analysed the photographs claimed to be of a young and semi-naked Pauline Hanson and delivered this verdict: "It is not her."

The young woman's neck is too short, her eyes too close together and her nose too narrow to be Ms Hanson, says Meiya Sutisno, who worked on identifications in the Falconio murder case and the 2005 Bali bombings.

Dr Sutisno, a senior lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney, compared pictures published in the Sunday Herald Sun with current photographs of Ms Hanson as well as images of her as a girl and young woman.

The good news for the newspaper, which Ms Hanson is suing for publishing the pictures, is that Dr Sutisno is convinced the photos are not doctored. She is convinced they are genuine images. The bad news: she is convinced they are of another woman.

At first glance, she concedes, the young woman is strikingly like the Ms Hanson of today, a candidate in Saturday's Queensland election. That is particularly so when considering the "most striking similarities in her features: the eyes and the thin lips … but that is a subjective assessment

It sure looks like a younger Hanson so if it genuinely isn't her and the pics are not photoshopped then she probably won't get much of a payout because it's reasonable for the media to believe that the pics are her.

It sure does look like her.

Is this how it works. I did not doctor up with image but it looked like you so I am in my right to say it is you and if you prove it is not, it want be so bad for me in terms of a claim because I did not doctor the image up.

I can see that a doctored image shows intent and therefore would be a greater crime but to fail to validate a claim is wrong wether it is based on a doctored image or not.
